I’m Mamta Bajaj
Psychotherapist, Clinical Trauma Counsellor and CBT Therapist
My specialty is in treating adults who have experienced Trauma and struggle with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Anxiety Disorders and Depression.
I also help people with Life Relationship Concerns and Everyday Life Stressors.
In my experience, I have seen that people are resilient and can create positive change within themselves when they are supported, encouraged, and guided.
As your therapist, I will work with you to find solutions and take actionable steps to be in your optimal mental space.
My Treatment Approach
My treatment approaches include Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Exposure & Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), Humanistic & Psychoanalytic techniques. I also incorporate Mindfulness & Somatic Therapy. Somatic therapy aims to treat mental and emotional health issues through the connection of mind and body. This includes grounding techniques and breathing exercises. The goal of this type of therapy is to help the body release the physical stress it's holding onto.
Basis of Counselling
Confidentiality is a fundamental part of counselling. Everything you share will be kept confidential, which means that I will not share your personal information or participation with anyone.
In addition to this, we take it three points further:

This is a process of self-awareness; the point of reflecting & understanding, identifying & addressing your concerns, and establishing a path forward to healing.

Through the process of counselling, you will discover your resilience & strengths. You will develop skills to be able to move ahead and become unstuck from patterns of thought & behaviour that are not helping you.
